They were both born in the poor countryside. When they went to the college, the whole property of him was 100 and she was wearing the underclothes sewed by her mother. At that time, they told to themselves, ” We must keep alive in this city!!” That year, she was 20-year-old and he was 21.

We will love each other for the whole life, after graduation, I will find a good job and bring you here and buy tiffany jewelry for you! Now please go back home and wait for me.OK? my baby?!”

She could not stay in the college any longer and went back to their hometown. He kept up his promise and called her everyday. After graduation, he found a good job in a company, there his colleague introduced a girl to him. The girl’s parents were high-ranking cadres, who would give good help to his future. At that time, he was a bit shaken in his heart.

Compared with the rich girl, she was just a ungraduated girl living in the countryside, also ,she was going to give birth to a baby. At that time, he was inclined to marry the rich girl in the city.

Two months later, he went back home and saw that she was feeding the baby, unwashed. It was too much different between her and the rich girl. Suddenly, he made the decision. He had done some business and became the chief of a multinational company. He always dreamt of her, he wanted to know how she was now.

Going back to their hometown, he met her.

She smiled quietly, “This is the first ring I received. So I will keep it forever.”

He asked,” Your husband does not mind ??”

She said,” No! I have never married. I am alone for all these years. Now, follow me please. I will take you to see my son.”

His son was handsome as he was young. He gently caught her shoulder and asked,” Do I have another chance to live with you:”

She answered him quietly with a smile,” I have no love now! You know, there is no love waiting for you forever. I am willing to live with my son like this, forever!”

At that time, He realized that their love was just a memory. He could never get her love again.He cried sadly.

Before he left, she put one thing in his hand. That was the bank card. She said,” There is something which you can not buy with money. Such as—love! I have never hated you, thank you for the love you have given to me. Enjoy your life!!”
